Designer & developer crafting thoughtful digital experiences. I turn complex ideas into elegant, functional products.
01 — About
I'm Joshua Pothen — a designer and creative technologist based in Toronto, studying Digital Futures at OCAD University. I work at the intersection of code, craft, and human experience, building things that are as considered in how they feel as in how they function.
My work spans interactive installations, interaction design, physical computing, and brand identity — sometimes all at once. Whether I'm wiring up Arduino sensors, composing spatial audio in TouchDesigner, or crafting a visual identity from scratch, I bring the same obsessive attention to detail to every layer of a project.
I'm drawn to work that makes people stop and actually feel something — curiosity, surprise, connection. If you've got a project that needs someone who can think across disciplines and build it end to end, let's talk.
